2008 AIDS Walk
May 12th, 2008 by ltltfoundation
Now in it’s sixth year, the walk has become one of Let’s Talk’s signature events. Participants and donors help raise much needed awareness and funds; all money raised will go directly to the African American HIV/AIDS service providers Let’s Talk supports.
There is still time to register!
Starting on LaFollete Park on Laramie Avenue and ending at Garfield Park on Central Park Avenue, the Walk travels through the heart of the West side. After the walk, stick around for the post-event festival, featuring free HIV testing, food and beverages and a FREE concert.
Scheduled to perform: the Chi-Lites, Yung Joc and more!
Volunteers are needed. The walk’s success depends on the support of volunteers.
Make a donation. Your funds will support state-wide African American HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services.
